1948 L-17B project. Continental E-185 engine 205 HP. From my Dad's estate, this was purchased by my father in 1978. It was flown regularly until the Hartzell AD became effective. My dad was 75 years old then and I think he just quit at that point and never pulled the prop and had the inspection done. This L17 is pretty original with steam gauge panel, no gear doors or spinner. Interior is old and worn with no headliner. There may be a fuel valve AD on the fuel selector. He did install the 20 gal under seat aux tank, so this aircraft will carry 60 gallons total. New tires and tubes. Last annual in 1997 I think. I have many hours in this airplane and as much as I would like to keep her and finish what he started, I don't have the great health and funds to do it, so sadly, we must part ways. I will answer questions as best as I can. I have the logs for airframe, prop, and engine. This is a Navion A model, not B model, I did not have the option Navion A. Phone calls only!! I was never able to respond to anyone's email thru Trade-A-Plane. The email always came back as "undeliverable". 618-233-5869 and leave a voicemail. I'll return the call.
