Aircraft > Single-Engine Piston > Kitfox > 250WT: Kitfox II
I purchased this Kitfox II as a project a couple of months ago but have been having issues getting my medical past with the FAA, so unfortunately, I am parting ways with it. This kit was mostly finished but never properly registered and made air worthy. The original tail number that is on the plane expired and was taken by someone else, that is why it does not match the posting. Technically you can fly this with a sports license, but it does have all the paperwork required to start the DAR process. It comes with basically everything but a prop (The one in the pictures was junk). The engine runs but would recommend doing a rebuild because it has been sitting for a few years. The wiring is a little rough, so I would go through that. While the plane was being stored at the previous owners the wing got banged up. It does not have an ADSB transponder or an airband radio. If you were to purchase this project, it's my understanding that you would need to transfer the registration using the bill of sale you receive from me. In order to make it airworthy you would need to rebuild the engine, fix wing, fix some wiring and install a prop. Then get ahold of your local DAR for an inspection to begin airworthiness flight testing process. I do have a build manual that came with the aircraft. It only has 100 hours on the engine.
