Aircraft > Turbine Helicopter > Rotorway > C-GXHT: Rotorway JETEXEC
THIS AIRCRAFT HAS A SALE PENDING My JetExec is back on the market. I have had three people who led me along and stated they were definitely going to buy it for +$120k but they all backed out due to finances or other reasons, nothing to do with the helicopter. At 75 years of age, I am tired of this whole process and just want to get on with other things in my life. Now, about my JetExec: The helicopter was flown to Oshkosh from Western Canada twice. The trip covered 3,000 miles in 2002, and 4,000 miles in 2004, going as far as Homer Bell's for his legendary fly-in near Cincinnati. At Oshkosh 2002, C-GXHT was presented with the Outstanding Workmanship Award by the EAA. There are 468 hours on the helicopter overall, and 293.5 with the Solar Titan T-62T-32 turbine. The current engine has been in the helicopter for 171 hours. It was ceramic coated and overhauled by legendary Joe Bedo. Two very significant improvements to this helicopter are collective friction and a servo adjustable horizontal trim. The latter enables the pilot to neutralize forward cyclic pressure and reduce Hooke's joint vibration, especially handy for longer trips. Many other features such as leather-lined interior panels, travelling wheels, weather-proof covers for main and tail rotors, and more. All recently improved power train parts are included, as well as a fresh set of elastomeric bearings for the main rotor.
