Airframe
A very nice 206F on Wipline 3450 amphibs is up for sale. Not many "old" around in this nice condition with the nice payload available - and it has all the right modifications. The floats and passenger door modification alone cost $150.000,-, and was completed in 2003. The aircraft is very well cared for, and flies beautifully. The strong 550 engine performs very well and with Gamin injectors it runs very smooth with many hours left before overhaul. Takeoffs at max gross from the water is a breeze. Even cruise up to FL 100 with 6 people on board. And all passengers will enjoy 6-place intercom and beautiful leather seats. Lots of space for luggage both inside and in the floats. Very convenient right hand passenger door. 10 hours range / 1100 NM with Sierra long range tanks (139 gls usable).
Engines / Mods
Continental 550 with 700 hours SNEW. New cylinders and pistons 250 hours. McCauley prop new in 2018. 300 hours.SNEW. Extra large for optimum seaplane performance. New governor in 2020.
Interior / Exterior
New real leather seats in dark blue with bakpockets. New rubber carpet. Airplane painted 2003. 8/10. All new wheel bearings in 2022. New brake pads. New front tires, good main tires.
