Message From the Owner For almost two decades, 2051lima has taken our family on adventures all over the east coast – and beyond. She was our ticket to Prince Edward Island, the family islands of the Bahamas, Mackinac Island, the eclipse zone in South Carolina – just to name a few. She has been a steady companion and a joy to own. After experiencing a wheels-up landing in the fall of 2021, the mid-timed engine was meticulously rebuilt and warranted by Signature Engines of Cincinnati and a new three-blade McCauley prop was installed in place of the Hartzel two-blade original. In addition, the plane was upgraded with new wing tips on all four corners and engine baffles were installed for enhanced cooling. Having addressed all mechanical issues, all that is needed is for the new owner to go through the proper engine break- in procedures. 2051Lima has completed her mission with our family and is looking for a new owner that will enjoy her as much as we have.
