Back Country Ready! This Beautiful & Low Time ex- Forestry Service Cessna 180 is a flying piece of history. Equipped with an Alcor Cargomore Door that was specially modified to serve as air ambulance / search and rescue aircraft for the forestry service in the early 1960s. 29" Tundra Tires give this aircraft the perfect bush plane / off airport stance. The aircraft was extensively restored over a 2 year period in 2001-2002 and has been stored in a dry hangar since. The paint and interior are in excellent condition.

Grey cloth in good overall condition. The seam on the pilot seat has unraveled about 3", but is othewise in excellent condition with no rips or tears. The glass is in excellent condition with no crazing or discoloration. The paint is in excellent condition with vibrant colors all around.
This aircraft was specially modified to serve as a search and rescue / air ambulance aircraft for the forestry service in the early 1960s. The aircraft was extensively restored over a 2 year period in 2001-2002 and has been stored in a dry hangar since. Logbooks begin in 1973. Copies of FAA recorded documents are available for prior years. 2 accidents recorded in the early 70s. Both properly repaired and the aircraft has flown for nearly 50 yrs since without issue.
