Aircraft > Single-Engine Piston > Cessna > N2760V: Cessna 177RG
*Sale Pending* Annual-5/2023 Selling reluctantly but my flying mission has changed. This is a premium and rare 1975 Cessna 177 Cardinal RG in excellent condition and one of the nicest in existence. It has the ultra-rare LoPresti Cowlabunga speed cowl, including SCRAM engine air flow, Powerflow exhaust, GAMI injectors, and Boom Beam landing lights. This is a meticulously maintained Cardinal, with the IO360A1B6 engine (not the less-desirable "D" engine), Sky-Tec starter, Concorde battery, and CIES fuel tank sensors, among many extras. It has 60-gallon fuel capacity with a useful load of 1018 lbs. TSOH is about 1100 (the airplane is flown regularly). The custom metal instrument panel contains dual G5s, Garmin 530W, EDM-900 engine monitor, Garmin 330ES transponder with ADS-B out and TIS traffic in, and an STEC autopilot with altitude hold, along with a Collins audio panel, and everything works beautifully. This Cardinal also has an avionics master, "engage" lights for the SCRAM air, LED gear running lights, and a secondary Narco 12D nav radio, along with nice extras like Cessna "umbrella" fuel caps, landing gear mirror, and HID landing lights. The interior is dream, with buttery-soft tan leather (done in 2019), new carpet and plastic (also 2019), door stewards, Cessna inertial shoulder harnesses, and articulating pilot and co-pilot seats. The airplane was painted in 1998 but hangered for the last 23 years. It also has custom pinstriping, and the plastic aerodynamic tips are in great condition. All windows have been replaced throughout the years, with a thicker, custom windscreen also installed. There are small, custom touches throughout. Cruises 148 knots @ 10 GPH. This one won't last. If you're looking for a premium, fast Cardinal, this is it. Currently located in Southern California.
