Description

Great flying, good looking, well equipped 1977 Grumman Tiger with low time engine (550 hrs SMOH).   IFR certified avionics support ADS-B In/Out with GNS 430W and Garmin Aera 796 compliment.  Avionics also feature JPI EDM 700 engine digital monitor, PMA 8000B audio panel, and a Century I Autopilot.  Interior is in generally good condition with new carpet installed 2023.    New main wheel fairings installed 2023.  Main carry through spare replaced 2023. Total time on airframe is 7620 hrs. 

Aircraft is owned by 345 Flyers LLC since 2005.   The five LLC partners have decided to dissolve the LLC due to declining use of the airplane over the past few years.

Airframe

The aircraft has a total time 7620 hrs.  All logbooks are available since new.   

Two FAA Form 337s for damage repair:
1) A hard landing in 2001 resulted in a nose gear collapse, prop strike, and damage to the lower cowling.  Prop was replaced, nose gear and cowling repaired, and engine was TBO.
2) In 2019, broken flap bracket attachment was repaired.  

During the Annual Inspection in December 2022, corrosion was discovered on the left top side of the inboard wing spar assembly, outboard of fuselage.   The spar was replaced in March 2023 with a serviceable unit having a total time of 3500 hrs and certification for 8500 hrs of remaining service life.

Interior / Exterior

Aircraft overall interior is in generally good condition.  Cockpit headliner, side panels, carpeting and seat covers were upgraded in 2006. Seat covers and side panels are still in good condition.  Canopy headliner is drooping slightly.  Some small areas where interior plastic molding is cracked or broken.  All new carpeting was installed 2023.

Aircraft was painted in 2001.  Paint is in fair condition.  Some pitting of the paint surface.  Small patches of exterior surface corrosion were treated in 2023, paint was touched up to match existing colors and wing tip stripes added. New main landing gear fairings in 2023.
