Very clean and always hangared Pitts S-2B built by Aviat Aircraft in 1993. Completely recovered in Poly Fiber and professionally painted in Aerothane in 2008. 2008 restoration by Herb Clark included all new fuel and oil lines, rebuilt fuel servo, factory smoke system, instrument panels, circuit breakers, single screw aerobatic inspection covers, Hooker Harnesses, Oregon Aero seat cushions, brake discs, gap seals, EI EGT/CHT, plus many more mods. The 2008 work was prompted by the airplane experiencing an off field landing due to fuel starvation. Engine is healthy and had a oil sample test that came back good. Engine: Lycoming AEIO-540, 791 SMOH Propeller: Hartzell Aerobatic "B" hub Propeller, 791 SOH, inspected and balanced at 751.8 tach time. Aircraft is in annual, January, and located at 0A4 in east Tennessee. Paint: 8/10, has one spot on underside of right top wing. (will provide photo upon request. The spot is very small about 2"x3") Interior: 10/10 NOTE: N NUMBER HAS BEEN CHANGED FROM N287PS TO N287PJ (Shown correctly in first photo).
