The Eclipse is the world's most fuel-efficient jet, and is an absolutely fantastic airplane. Cruise ~360kts (m0.62) with a fuel burn of 500lbs first hour/400lbs subsequent hours and a range of ~1,000nm. This is an outstanding aircraft for a mission of 1-5 people up to 1,000nm in comfort, speed, and style. I transitioned into the Eclipse from a Cirrus, and have all the resources for training and getting set up if this is your first jet.

If you're not familiar with the Eclipse of 2023 - the company has a strong owner and production of new airplanes has restarted (albeit without new engines being manufactured, yet). The company delivered a couple of new planes in 2023 with low-time used engines and will deliver more in 2024. All parts are available and I've never been AOG for any period of time. The support network that grew up around these planes during the 'bad old days' of the early teens has become a great backbone, so between factory and third-party support, these planes are in a great place.

N301MK is one of three that were repurchased by the factory and extensively upgraded and refreshed in 2016 before being sold as a 'CE' (Custom Edition). Equipped with all the sought-after features (including Tall Charts, Auto-Throttles, and ABS Brakes) without the price tag that comes with the v2.9 aircraft, N301MK represents an outstanding value.
