Apollo GX-65 Comm/GPS/Moving Map. Bendix King KT-76C digital transponder. ELT.
I have owned this CJ for ~20 years and Overhauled most all of the systems with new air hoses, fuel and oil hoses and SS desiccant tank. Delco 28v overhauled alternator, powder coated exhaust system and OH'd gill shutters. The 300 mile range restriction has been removed by the local Sacramento FSDO. The landing gear OH included: actuators, up-locks, check valves, shuttle valves, air hoses. There is a Fram spin on oil filter in line with the oil cooler hose. This CJ is about 200 pounds lighter than a stock CJ as all the 1950's era remoted avionics/instruments were removed. It is a delight to fly, well balanced and light on the controls. Reliable Day VFR aircraft. Basic flight controls with an airspeed indicator and altimeter, engine controls, are in the rear cockpit. A third bottle of compressed air with an aluminum scuba tank is behind the custom-made baggage compartment behind the rear cockpit. I had the prop dynamically balanced soon after I bought the plane.
The interior cockpits have been repainted. New gray custom seat and back cushions front and rear with new gray Hooker Harness' installed.
