This 1976 Piper Cherokee Six 300 is by far the nicest one on the planet. No expense was spared in this beautiful tip-to-tail restoration. Want ramp appeal? You got it! A $35K stunning 4-Color paint scheme was brought to life by Ultimate Aviation LLC in early 2021. Like the look and feel of a luxury interior? This one delivers. An all new $50K+ custom interior by AIR MOD was added in July 2021. 7-place configuration with easily removable center seat for added space or to facilitate being flown under Basic Med requirements. Require the latest and greatest tech? This bird has all the toys! Aerotronics completed a drool-worthy $145K custom instrument panel and soundproofing of the aircraft in late 2020. The complete specs for this fully-loaded avionics suite by Garmin can be found below. Last, but most certainly not least, need solid and reliable power and performance? Well... Check! $90K+ was put into the airplane firewall forward. It features a highly coveted "Power-By-Victor", Victor Black overhauled Lycoming IO-540-K1A engine with all new CMI Prime CermiNil Cylinders as well as a New MT 3-blade, constant-speed, MTV-9 propeller. These installs as well as numerous other enhancements and improvements, many of which are featured below, were all completed in late 2020 by Edwards Air Center. An undertaking as large as this restoration is difficult to navigate without at least one hiccup along the way. Unfortunately, when the new paint job was conducted, a lapse in protective and preventative measures occurred and chemicals from the paint harmed some internal engine components. This was resolved with a fresh IRAN/TDI by Victor Aviation themselves and replacements of various components were made, most notably the camshaft and lifters. Everything has been smooth sailing since then and all Blackstone Oil Analysis reports have been nothing short of stellar! This example makes the case for avoiding the hassles and headaches of a major project and simply jumping into one that is already complete and ready to go. If you still opt to do one yourself, take note... do the engine last! Current time since major overhaul is 240 hours and time since TDI/IRAN is 155 hours. As if the Victor Aviation name is not enough, this engine, along with engine accessories, comes with the balance of a 3-year / 600 hour warranty (28 months / 475 hours remaining) from Piston Power. Seller will cover the $500 warranty transfer fee. This long-time family owned aircraft was purchased shortly after the completion of all the major restorative projects by the existing owner in September, 2022. A very thorough pre-purchase, annual inspection, and pitot-static/transponder re-certification were conducted at that time by the experienced Piper Service Center team at Lubbock Aero. The current owner has flown approximately 125 business and pleasure hours since his purchase 8 months ago. Over this time he has had two of his children take interest in learning to fly. He purchased a smaller 4-place Piper to help facilitate that endeavor and he has now beautifully restored that one to Oshkosh show-worthiness as well. Keeping both aircraft is simply not in the cards long-term... the kids come first and the sale of one of his businesses has left him without a need for a longer-distance hauler. Thus, the difficult decision has been made to part ways with this amazing Cherokee Six. No damage history. Complete and continuous logbooks. Extensive and meticulous records.
