1976 G-164B Grumman 450hp Agcat N48517 TTAF 9634 SMOH ENG 872 (Covington R985) SPOH 1407 My family has owned and used this agplane in our crop spraying business since 1992. It's always been a good reliable aircraft for us. I'm retiring now so am offering for sale. It's flown 18 hours since the last Annual inspection in June 2021.
Avionics
Swath guidance by Satloc SLXg3. Crophawk 7.
Airframe
Lower wing span is 40ft 5". Upper wing is 19" above hopper. Hopper capacity is 2000lbs. Stainless steel spray system w/filter. Electric brake on pump fan. 12volt system. Batteries (2) were new in 2018. Wheel brake discs and pads are in good shape. Tail and wings were recovered in 2011. Aircraft painted in 2011.
Engines / Mods
Overhauled Covington R985 installed in 2011. Engine starter replaced in 2019. Hamilton Standard propeller model 2D30. Blades (2) 6101A-12.
