Description

"The Patriot" : An absolutely stunning aerobatic Decathlon Xtreme in red, white, and blue.

Built in 2015, N60XD was owned by the factory, American Champion, until 2019. During this time it was used as a demo model and continuously upgraded with all of the bells and whistles. In 2018 a TruTrak autopilot was installed, followed in 2019 with the upgrade from round dials to  Garmin G3X Touch avionics. In mid-2019, the entire airplane's fabric was replaced to create a bad-ass red/while/blue paint scheme.

At 210 hp, the plane can draw beautiful vertical uplines - and the aerobatic sight-gauge will keep you honest. We did light aerobatics - no competition.

With ADSB In/Out, traffic is easy to spot. N60XD is super-responsive, climbs like a beast, and is a pleasure to fly.
