Description

PRICE REDUCED!!!

We are pleased to offer this beautiful example of a 1969 Piper Aztec for sale. See the attached spec sheet and photos. This airplane runs/flys excellent and is bound to turn heads with its new paint, interior, and side windows.

Avionics

Garmin 340 audio panel, GTN 750, MAC 1700 nav/comm (no gs), Garmin 330es transponder with adsb out, 3M Stormscope, Century IIIB autopilot (NAV, HDG, PITCH, ALT), King KCS55A HSI, Freshly overhauled Century attitude indicator

Airframe

This Aztec runs beautifully and is always a joy to fly. Since we purchased the airplane in 2022 we have gotten the aircraft painted, new carpet, new single pane tinted side windows, new battery (11/2022), new tires/tubes/bearings/brakes, new heater fuel regulator, and installed new o-rings on all landing gear/gear door actuators. All this airplane needs to fly is its new owner!

Annual date: 10/2023
IFR Insp. date: 4/2023

Engines / Mods

Both engines were overhauled in mid to late 90s (Ad will be updated when I am able to get to the logbooks and look at exact date). The left engine had overhauled cylinders, camshaft, pistons, and lifters installed in 2014 at 1142 SMOH.

While the engines are older from a calendar standpoint SMOH, we boroscoped both camshafts to find NO corrosion or pitting of any kind. Filters have been cut open with every oil change and have never had a single spec of metal since we purchased the aircraft in 2022. All cylinder compressions on both engines are 70/80 or above. The airplane runs like a top and I can see the engines running without issue for another thousand hours.

This airplane has some desirable STCs such as the E model nose and extended range fuel tanks bringing total usable fuel quantity to 188 gallons.

Interior / Exterior

New paint job completed in December of 2023 and looks wonderful. All side windows were replaced at same time with tinted single pane windows from Great Lakes Aero.

Leather headliner and leather seats were re-done in 2020 by previous owner and still look fantastic. New carpet in cabin and baggage areas installed December of 2020. Side panels are older but still in nice condition.
