Bellanca, who emigrated from Italy to the United States in 1912, earned a reputation for creating highly efficient airplanes with good low- speed characteristics and high cruise speeds.
The Viking 300 holds 72 gallons of fuel. This Bellanca is equipped with the more luxurious cabin seating and larger fuel tanks. The Vikings retractable tricycle gear is unique as the main gear retract forward into the wing having the nosewheel retracts rearward.
Bellanca made it a practice to offer many extra features and N7348V does not disappoint. The Continental IO-520 Series engine cruises in the 190s. Installed is a 2021 Appareo Stratus ESG Transponder with Interface, GX-50 GPS with MD40 CDI along with the standard Narco MK 12S TSO Com/Nav radio/com stack with secondary Narco 810 TSO and Narco DMA 890.
