This Great Lakes 2T-1A-2 was manufactured in 1978, then went through a very complete, thorough and professional restoration in 2009.  Today, this Great Lakes looks like new because it was restored to be like new.  Compare it to a newly manufactured 2T-1A-2 ---same design, same engine, same performance, same aerobatic ability, same quality, same classic beauty, same adventure waiting to happen on every flight.

No damage history, excellent records, all logs, hangar-ed since 2009, Beautiful paint, no fabric damage, 
Custom leather seats, King com and transponder installed new in aircraft in 2009, Garmin aera 660 GPS ( mounted in panel) Uavionix Skybeacon ADSB , EI fuel flow gauge and more.

Airframe

Aircraft in factory new condition since it was professionally restored in 2009 including complete disassembly, uncovering of fabric, all steel tubing epoxy coated. All new hardware, new control cables, new wheels, tires, brakes, brake master cylinders, engine mounts, new mags, new hoses, ducts and hard lines, new alternator, battery, switches and wiring.  All wing spars, ribs, stringers, and wires inspected and repaired as necessary.
Engine, prop and prop governor were overhauled at this time.
Aircraft completely recovered in 2009 using Polyfiber process and top coated with Aerothane Insignia White, blue and red trim.  

The restoration mods included metal side panels and split nose cowling, Dawley exhaust heat exchanger, custom leather seats, five point seatbelts, and new instrument panels

Prop was overhauled at annual on 8/11/22 which included a factory new B hub.  This was done to end reoccurring  AD's on the A hub which requires prop removal and Prop Shop inspection
