Beautiful example of well maintained Beechcraft Twin Bonanza E50. Flown during a working life spent hangered in San Antonio, TX as a platform for executive travel and aerial photography for Tobin Mapping Company. The second owner has kept the Tbone hangered and maintained for over twenty years, the last thirteen in Rome, GA. It has recently been returned to service after extensive overhaul and improvements. Now it is offered for sale as a leading example of the type while I look to downsize my flying. For those unfamiliar, the flight characteristic are pure Beech, light and responsive, as well as rugged and forgiving. It is a very capable family SUV with good short field and high altitude performance characteristics. With a useful weight of over 2000 pounds, optional extended range internal tanks (230 gallons), and engine out service ceiling above ten thousand feet, it qualifies uniquely in the piston world for high terrain operations. For this reason, it was chosen both by the Swiss Air Force and South American air forces for high altitude operations for many years. Additionally the E50 US Army variant was used in a variety of military roles. Both engines have been recently overhauled and reinstalled with new Lycoming cylinders, new mounts, hoses, lines, and an Airwolf oil filtration upgrade. The overhaul was accomplished by Columbia engines with their extensive background with the 480 line. The avionics were upgraded as well with Garmin ADS out capability and the addition of a JPI engine monitoring system. Please let me know if I may assist you in answering your questions.
