Description

1965 Champion Citabria 7GCAA. Red and White with Blue accent stripe. Powered by a Lycoming O-320-A25 150 HP engine. 3391 total time. 1083 SMOH and Prop overhaul. February 2023 annual. All AD's complied with. All 4 cylinders had 78/80 compression. The airplane went through a major restoration in April 1995. Very nice looking airplane with new interior in January 2014. Updated avionics with ADS-B Out. All logbooks from new. This aircraft has ALWAYS been maintained to the Highest Standards. Always hangared.

Avionics

New Garmin GTR 225 Com with intercom installed. New Garmin GTX 327 Transponder with altitude reporting installed. New SkyBeacon ADS-B Out installed. These 3 units were installed March 19, 2019 (aircraft hours 3273). Turn and bank indicator is vacuum driven by a venturi. G meter and 8 day clock installed.
  

Airframe

Major restoration April, 1995 (2308 hours). New control cables, new wiring, new Stits Poly Fiber fabric on fuselage, wings, horizontal and vertical stabilizers, rudder, elevators and ailerons. Painted Red and White with Blue accent stripe (strong7.5 out of 10). Vortex Generators installed on wings and horizontal stabilizers. Spades installed on ailerons. New American Champion tail leaf spring installed December 11, 2013 (3000 hours) Annual completed February 2,2023 (3384 hours). All AD's complied with. Always hangared.
  

Engines / Mods

Engine is a Lycoming O-320-A25 150 horsepower. 1083 hours SMOH. McCauley prop has 1083 hours SPOH. Airwolfe oil filter installed January, 2012. All 4 cylinders had compressions of 78/80 on February, 
2023 annual inspection (3384 hours). Cylinder Head/EGT gauge installed.
  

Interior / Exterior

New Air Tex Interior installed January 31, 2014 (3006 hours). It is Light Gray (strong 8 out of 10). The heel brakes were converted to Champion toe brakes January 29, 2009.  Exterior painted Red and White with a Blue accent stripe (good 7.5 out of 10).
  

Remarks

Nice Flying airplane. Flys straight with no quirks. It also looks very nice. I get numerous compliments from pilots and mechanics alike. I have all logbooks from New. I have a new tailwheel all ready to go including new bearings. Current tailwheel is still in very good shape. This airplane is always hangared and maintained to the highest standards.
