Description

Nice clean Beech C24R. 3186 TT. Engine approx 1300 SMOH. Times will vary as aircraft is flown frequently. It was the test aircraft used by Garmin to certify the GFC-500 for the Beech 19/23/24 series aircraft and has 3 axis autopilot (roll/pitch/yaw) professionally installed by Garmin. G5s and Flight Stream 210 also installed by Garmin. All 4 servos (roll/pitch/yaw/trim) have been replaced in compliance with the most recent Garmin recall. Airframe and engine are the original combination from the factory in 1980. Engine overhauled by Ly-Con. All ADs complied with. Trues out at 130 knots on 10.5 gph. Would trade for twin.

I have the oil analysis reports plus have the airplane on Mike Bush's Savvy Aviation engine monitoring program. All hoses firewall forward replaced in 2022. Entire gear system (with the exception of the nose gear actuator) rebuilt in 2023 with new hydraulic hoses on all 3 actuators. It is literally a turnkey operation. The only reason it is up for sale is that I'm interested in something a little faster. If it sells, great. If not, I'll keep flying it. Reasonable offers entertained.

Airframe

No damage history. No corrosion. Entire airframe has been zinc chromated from the factory. Paint is original and shows well. 8/10

Engines / Mods

Lycoming IO-360-A1B6. Roughly 1400 SMOH. TT is the same as the airframe as it is the original engine installed on the airframe at Beech in 1980. Uses roughly 1 quart every 8-10 hours if you run it at 6 quarts. 6-8 if you fill to 7 quarts. Equipped with Tanis 4 cylinder engine heater.

Interior / Exterior

Entirely replaced roughly 10 years ago. Very nice and clean. No rips/stains in carpet. 9/10.
