Description

Plans-built experimental, workmanship award Oshkosh 2004, 1380 airframe TT, O-360 A2A Lycoming  assembled by Aerosport Power. Silverhawk fuel injection,ECI Titan cylinders have 600 hours, Lightspeed Plasma 3 and Pmag ignitions, Sky-Tec starter, B&C 40 amp alternator, B&C voltage reg., electric belly board, Matco wheels and brakes, manual nose gear retract, Garmin: 430 nav/com, 327 transponder, 340 audio panel,  GI 106A VOR/GS/GPS indicator,GDL82 ADSB out, GRT engine monitor, GRT Sport EFIS w/ synthetic vision, Trio autopilot and altitude hold, sun-shade, 8 inch prop extension, Hertzler 66x78p prop, spinner, 13 row oil cooler, oil filter adaptor, Whelan A600 nav and strobe lights, Odyssey PC680 battery, and probably a few items I missed.
  

Avionics

The switch panel was from Composite Design Inc. 
the original six pac of instruments was upgraded to a GRT Sport EX and displays information from the Garmin 430 and the GRT EIS.
The garmin GDL 82 provides ADSB out and I use Stratus IIS to display traffic and weather on an IPad with Foreflight app. The Garmin GI106a provides a display of localizer and glide slope or gps. The Trio autopilot will track the Garmin 430 and the altitude hold assist in holding a level altitude. There is a redundant airspeed indicator.
  

Airframe

Built according to Cozy MK IV plans, using foam and fiberglass from Aircraft Spruce and Wicks aircraft supply.
  

Engines / Mods

Aerosport Power of Kamloops, BC assembled the engine with ECI classic cast cylinders. The FAA AD on these cylinders created an opportunity to replace them at 800 hours with ECI Titan cylinders. 
The 2 Unison Slick Magnetos were replaced with the electronic ignitions.
The Ellison TBI was replaced with a Silverhawk mechanical fuel injection to provide a more even flow of fuel/air.
